Approved Products Only
We follow each aircraft owner’s or manufacturer’s cleaning rules and approved product list. Where none exists, we default to the most conservative option available rather than the most convenient one.
Who You’re Dealing With
Hi, we’re Jonah and Antonio
We are two students at Stellenbosch University. Around the airfields here we kept seeing aircraft worth millions cleaned by whoever happened to be free that afternoon — nobody was offering this as a specialism. So we learned to do it properly and put every free hour into building SAAD.
Come along as partners and follow the journey with us, as we build the biggest aircraft detailing company in South Africa.
Questions before you enquire? Email saaircraftdetailing@gmail.com, call Jonah on 076 271 6565 or Antonio on 066 306 9978. If a full detail is not what your aircraft actually needs, we would rather tell you that than take the job.
Credentials
SAAD is IDA Certified, a credential awarded by the International Detailing Association on completion of its ten written examinations — covering chemical and equipment use, interior detailing, paint protection, surface correction, and safety and compliance.
How We Operate
We follow each aircraft owner’s or manufacturer’s cleaning rules and approved product list. Where none exists, we default to the most conservative option available rather than the most convenient one.
Leather, fabric, acrylic, painted composite and polished metal each want a different approach, and what is correct on one will mark the next. We match the method to the material every time rather than running one routine across the whole aircraft.
We never remove bolted-in parts or open inspection panels. That is maintenance, it is regulated, and it belongs to a licensed aircraft maintenance engineer — not to us.
Photographs before we start and photographs when we finish, shared with you. It protects your aircraft and it protects us, and it means nobody has to rely on memory.
We are a mobile service, so the aircraft never has to move for us — we come to your hangar or stand. Stellenbosch is our base, and we work across the Western Cape as standard, travelling further for fleet contracts and multi-aircraft work by arrangement.
Your flight programme sets the timing, not us. Daytime, evening, overnight or over a weekend — we take whichever window leaves the aircraft free, and work around it.
Based in Stellenbosch and mobile across the Western Cape. Tell us what you fly and where it lives.
